More Gogarth fun

Another scan of the weather map and another decision to make the 2.30hr trip to Gogarth. This wasn’t looking like a great decision as we tiptoed across the traverse a couple of hours before high tide, toes getting wet. It looked even worse a few minutes later, sheltering in the pouring rain and cut off from retreat for the next 4 hours.

Luckily Gogarth dries quickly! Out came the sun, and Paul pulled a big lead out of the bag for the Big Groove main pitch.

Back to the sacks by 5, it had turned properly nice, so we dashed down to Wen Zawn for an evening on Quartz Icicle. What a great place!
